Ecumen ranks as the sixth largest senior living operator in the Twin Cities metro area, according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s annual Senior Living Operators List — moving up from a seventh place ranking in 2015.
Senior living facility operators are ranked by total units in the Twin Cities metro area, where Ecumen has 1,488 units across 21 locations. Ecumen also has 17 additional locations outside the metro area in other parts of Minnesota and in North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, Idaho and Tennessee.
Ecumen is one of the nation’s top 20 largest non-profit providers of senior housing and aging services. Based in Shoreview, Minn., Ecumen provides a variety of senior housing options and services including independent living, assisted living and long-term care communities as well as at-home and community-based services such as home care and hospice.
The Business Journal also highlighted two of Ecumen’s projects now under construction — Abiitan Mill City in downtown Minneapolis and Zvago Glen Lake in Minnetonka.
