My father (survived three years as a WWII medic in the Pacific) and my late uncle (died with his crew when shot down over the Hump).

Leif Wilfred Nelson served 39 mos in NAfrica and Italy during WWII. My dad lived the spririt of his AF service all of his 80 years. Missed.
