Residents may contract directly with Pathstone Home Care located on the campus for services, such as housekeeping, plus assistance with personal care, therapy, and skilled nursing as needed. Residents may also contract with outside agencies if desired.
What is commonly referred to as a retirement home is what we call an Independent Living community, where ongoing care services are not needed and active residents live in a private apartment with full community amenities and private parking.
They are different in amenities, services and level of independence manageable by the resident. Our Assisted Living community offers residents a private apartment home with kitchenette, meal plan, private bathroom and a customized care plan with regularly scheduled visits from an onsite expert care team. Our Memory Care community provides individuals experiencing Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia a private room in a safe and secured environment supervised 24/7 by experts in dementia care.
They refer to two different kinds of senior living housing and services. What many people call a nursing home or a skilled nursing home is what we call our Long-Term Care community, where we provide residents a room, meal plan and 24/7 care from an onsite expert care team. Our Assisted Living community offers residents a private apartment home with kitchenette, meal plan, private bathroom and a customized care plan with regularly scheduled visits from an onsite expert care team.
Home Care is designed to support otherwise independent individuals with a variety of services delivered by care experts in the recipient’s home, whether living in their private home or in our Independent Living community. When a loved one needs more continuous care than Home Care can provide, our Assisted Living community is a great option for them (and you) because of the peace of mind that comes with a safe environment, a customized care plan and regularly scheduled visits from an onsite expert care team.
