Four former Saint Paul Winter Carnival Klondike Kates joined the residents of Ecumen Parmly LifePointe’s Point Pleasant Heights last week for their annual Candlelight Dinner.

The Kates had plenty of songs, hugs and kisses to share at what was billed as “An Evening of Merriment.”

“It was sweet,” said Housing Director Mara Krinke.

Beth Nephew, who is in charge of activities, picked the theme and had the room decorated in red and gold. The 72 attendees had punch from a fountain and enjoyed prime rib, shrimp scampi, potatoes, asparagus, salad and cheddar biscuits and flaming cherries jubilee over cheesecake for dessert.
