The Housing and Community Based Services scholarship program, which was funded in the 2015 Minnesota legislative session, seeks to improve the education and skills of long-term care employees and provide them with a means of career advancement.

Scholarships for up to $1,000 per caregiver can be used for any type of training or degree program related to patient or client care.  Scholarships may be for a single, one-day class or workshop, a degree program, and/or for books and fees related to an employee’s course of study.
