Born: August 22, 1913, in Genoa, Colorado.

Residence: Ecumen Meadows, Worthington, Minn.                           

Hobbies/Interests: Started playing pool in retirement and used to play every day.  Also enjoys cards and singing.

Family: 2 children, 7 grandchildren, numerous  great- and great-great grandchildren. Married to Marguerite for 72 years.

Occupation: Farming.

Secrets of Longevity: “The help of the Good Lord and living one day at a time.”  Albert has two sisters who lived to be 104 and 105. His mother lived to be 97 and his father 92. “Live one day at a time as the Lord gives you,” he advises.  And don’t smoke.  He says he doesn’t know anyone who lived to be 100 who smoked.

Interesting Facts: Albert is known for his friendliness to everyone.  He never misses a faith-based or musical performance program at Ecumen Meadows.
