Residence:  Ecumen Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids, Minn.

Hobbies/Interests: Playing cards and bingo. Ruth also loved to travel to Mexico and Canada.

Family: Ruth was married for 44 years to Clarence (Benny) who passed away in 1980. She has 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

Occupation: Homemaker

Secret to Longevity: Ruth attributes her longevity to an occasional “nip” before supper, says her son.

Interesting Facts: After retiring in 1970, Ruth and her husband moved to their Lake Belle Taine home in the Nevis area, which was part of Clarence’s original homestead. Ruth was the Grand Marshall of the 100 year celebration of the Nevis Public School shortly before moving to Heritage Living Center in 2012.
