Ecumen Blogger Jim Klobuchar Recognized for His Role in Minnesota’s Biking Craze

Readers of the Changing Aging blog probably know that our renowned blogger Jim Klobuchar is a bike enthusiast.  But there’s a lot more to the story.

Jim is also a biking innovator who is credited with pioneering multi-day bike tours in Minnesota back in the 1970s. Star Tribune reporter Doug Smith recently paid homage to Klobuchar’s role in long-distance biking history in a heartwarming story about those early tours that created a statewide craze.

Jim masterfully combined writing and pedaling in his long career as a newspaper columnist for the Star Tribune, and we are proud to have him as a regular blogger who epitomizes Changing Aging.
