Job Description
1. Assists in meal preparation duties as assigned including, but not limited to, presentation, organizing food and supplies, preparation of food, serving meals and cleanup. 2. Properly operates equipment upon completed training. 3. Adheres to sanitation techniques: washes hands. 4. Ability to wipe up spills, use wet floor signs, clean all surfaces of the kitchen and other work areas. 5. Responds accordingly to resident requests. 6. Keeps harmful chemicals safely stored and away from residents and food. 7. Aware of facility events, activities and changes in order to efficiently deliver quality of care. 8. Labels, dates and rotates stock. 9. Place dishes in dishwasher properly to ensure cleanliness and supervises travel of dishes through dishwasher. Understand the basic functions of the dishwasher and know when to seek proper maintenance intervention. 10. Able to un-rack the dishes and place them in correct storage areas, making sure that they are clean and dry first. 11. Must be able to meet the requirements of Mission Essential Values: Quality, Teamwork, Safety and the Person Centered Approach. 12. Must be able to meet the physical and mental demands of the position. 13. Other duties as assigned. AA/EEO
