Benefits Overview
Benefit eligibility is based on the number of hours an employee works. Benefits become effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Ecumen offers a comprehensive benefits plan designed to meet the needs of all our employees:

Health Insurance
Employees can choose single, single plus one or family coverage levels. Employees can earn deductible credits by meeting bio-metric goals through a medical supplement plan.
Dental Insurance
Two plan options are available. Employees can choose single, single plus one or family coverage levels.
Vision Plan
All regularly scheduled employees may purchase vision care benefits for themselves and their dependents.
Life Insurance and AD&D
Employees may receive employer paid life insurance and AD&D insurance. Employees may also purchase additional life insurance and AD&D for themselves and dependents.
Retirement Benefit
An employer provided defined contribution retirement plan. Employees receive an employer matching contribution if they contribute a minimum of 2%.
Short-term Salary Continuation
An employer provided benefit that pays a benefit to employees who are totally disabled. Maximum benefit is 26 weeks. Eligible employees must be regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per pay period.
Long-term Disability
An employer provided benefit that pays a benefit to employees who are totally disabled. Benefit begins after six months of total disability. Eligible employees must be regularly scheduled to work at least 64 hours per pay period.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Allows employees to pay for health care and dependent care expenses with tax free dollars up to established maximums.

Paid Personal Leave
A personal leave program with paid time off that may be used for a variety of reasons including vacations, illness, and personal time. Eligible employees must be regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per pay period. Accruals are prorated based on hours worked.

Caregiver Leave
Caregiver leave provides employees with paid/unpaid leave in order to care for a family member with a serious medical condition. Eligible employees must be regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per pay period.
