Lamplighter Manor offers 65 apartments with optional services and rental subsidies to elderly, handicapped, and disabled adults. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood near the lake and are connected by an enclosed walkway to Emmanuel Nursing Home. Lamplighter Manor is a member of the Ecumen family. Ecumen is Minnesota’s largest non-profit provider of senior housing and services. The name Ecumen comes from the word ecumenical, which in turn is derived from the root Greek word for house or home: "Oikos." Ecumen seeks to create "home" for older adults wherever they choose to live. Ecumen is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and has more than 4,000 team members who provide housing options and services in approximately 100 communities.
