It’s National Nursing Assistants Week, and Ecumen honors and thanks its nearly 1,500 direct caregivers for their dedicated care and commitment.
This premier leadership program builds an extensive clinical and leadership foundation for nursing students through rotational experiences within geriatric health care services. Fellows increase general leadership capability through a wide range of experiences, while gaining well-rounded knowledge of Ecumen’s business.
What you will gain:
Ideal candidates have a passion for administering quality health care to seniors. The program is offered in two locations: Ecumen Pathstone Living in Mankato, MN, and Ecumen Lakeshore in Duluth, MN, for three weeks in June 2018.
When will I be notified if I’ve been accepted into the program?
We operate with a rolling acceptance policy. All applicants will be notified before April 30, 2018.
Is the Fellowship paid?
Participants who successfully complete all requirements will receive a $3,000 stipend.
Does Ecumen provide housing or transportation?
Ecumen does not provide housing or transportation for fellows. The stipend that fellows are paid is to help defray costs for this educational and training experience.
Do Fellows get jobs at the end of the summer Fellowship Program?
Fellows may be hired on a full-time or part-time basis upon completion of their education. However, there is no guarantee of a job. The decision is the sole discretion of the placement organization based on current need
