Born: March 26, 1917, in Saint Paul, Minn.

Residence: Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood in Maplewood, Minn.                           

Hobbies/Interests: Hank loves family, socializing and traveling. He’s been to 89 countries throughout the world. He also loves to play cribbage – and wins about 95 percent of the time.  When he was younger he loved hunting, fishing, boating and golf.

Family: Widower. Lost three spouses to cancer. Three sons and 63 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Occupation: Realtor for 45 years and past president of the Saint Paul Area Association of Realtors.  Also worked as a butcher for 15 years.

Secrets of Longevity: “Never worry about the small stuff because it’s all small stuff!” Enjoy time with family and good friends.

Interesting Facts: Had a nine-piece swing band in the 1920s that traveled throughout the five-state area to play in clubs. Is full-blooded Polish and speaks and writes the language fluently. Has visited Poland seven times.
