Point Pleasant Heights, a townhome and apartment community on the Ecumen Parmly LifePointes campus in Chisago City, recently held its annual Cul-de-Sac Coffees — a time when residents socialize and share stories.

“Residents shared many memories in conversations,” said Beth Nephew, a life enrichment specialist who helped facilitate the group discussions. “We went around asking each group to talk about their favorite adventures. Some of the stories were touching, others funny, and some intense.”

This is the ninth year for the gatherings. Some of the neighborhoods at Point Pleasant Heights have built on the idea to hold potlucks and other events that bring them together.
